ABA Finals

Great news for Yorkshire boxing !!

Friday night at York Hall saw 3 of our Boxers in the Senior ABA Finals, and what a performance from all of them!

Bantamweight, Luke Campbell from St Pauls ABC boxed really well to beat Ryan Walsh from Kingfisher ABC. He boxed well within himself, and dominated the bout from the second round, and ran out a very worthy winner.

At Featherweight, again from St Pauls ABC, Samire Mounieme found an opponent just that little bit more experienced than him in Stephen Smith from Rotunda, but kept up to his task well, and with a little bit more involvement at this level, will surely pick up a title in the next year.

Westway ABC's Heavyweight Danny Price met the opponent he most wanted to beat, Tony Bellew from Rotunda ABC, and convincingly beat him in all departments in a hard bout that rounded off the night for Yorkshire.

On behalf of the Association, congratulations lads, well done to all three of you, and best wishes for the future.
